Hevi Optronics and Vertex Imaging Agree to Distribution Agreement

Vertex Imaging Solutions is thrilled to announce a new cooperation agreement with HEVI Optronics OÜ, a high-tech Estonian manufacturer specializing in precision Pan-Tilt Units (PTUs). Effective immediately, this agreement positions Vertex as HEVI’s exclusive reseller in the United States and Australia, and a reseller in Canada, Mexico, and Latin America.

Bringing EO/IR Solutions Full Circle

What sets Vertex apart in this partnership is our ability to integrate high-performance thermal imaging camera systems directly onto HEVI’s PTUs. By combining stabilized pan-tilt platforms with advanced electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) imaging payloads, we can deliver complete long-range surveillance systems ready for defense, border security, infrastructure monitoring, and more.

These integrated systems give operators unmatched control, clarity, and coverage in a compact, modular format—ideal for mobile, fixed, or vehicle-mounted deployments. Whether branded under Vertex or HEVI, the outcome is the same: total situational awareness in any lighting or weather condition.

A Unified Presence at Border Security Expo

As a show of early collaboration, the two companies are joining forces at the Border Security Expo (April 8-9, 2025). HEVI will provide booth materials and demo equipment, while Vertex brings its thermal imaging technology to complement the PTUs. It’s a snapshot of the synergy already in motion.
