Lightweight Vehicle Payload Retract System mounts in the bed of a standard commercial trucks or a vans. The lightweight vehicle payload mast system enables mobile surveillance that can be quickly redeployed. The system allows the user to take full advantage of multi-sensor camera systems with integrated RTK systems to locate target coordinates from inside the vehicle. When driving through harsh environments that may damage the paylod, the payload can be stowed in less than 25 seconds. The system is powered separately from the main vehicle battery, which gives the system full autonomy for approximately 6-10 hours. The system battery will charge its batteries only while car engine is running or can be directly plugged into 110-230 VAC mains power.
